Transform: In moments of stress, she will transform into a buxom, twenty year old red head. This transformation is purely involuntary and usually undesired.

The final survivor of Kaosu's tribe, Kayura was once the evil Lady Kayura, future general of the vast armies of the Youjakai. She had been tricked into going with the Emperor Arago when he slaughtered her tribe on the pretense of rescuing her from her neglectful and abusive family at the age of five. In the Youjakai she had been given anything her heart desried in order to ensure her loyalty to Arago. When the four Masho were brought to the Youjakai not two decades later, they were given armor, something Kayura had not been given. When she confronted Arago about this, he explained that they recived armor for the virtues they had been given at birth. When Kayura asked if she had a virtue as well, Arago informed her "Yes, but you will recive no armor, for no armor can defend against love."

Some centuries later, Arago commenced his invasion into the Ningenkai proper, only for his four Masho and himself to be defeated by five teenagers in armor with virtues. They were known as the Samurai Troopers. A few months later, Arago had his remaining Masho (One had converted to the side of good in the final battle) capture three of the Samurai Troopers, sending Kayura after the remaining two. These two fought back numerous times, one finally falling to her, even if only temporarily. They also followed her into the Youjakai, where they rescued their fellow Troopers and freed the remaining Masho and Kayura of Arago's hold. The former Masho, the one who turned to the side of good, died in the process however.

In the two years that followed, Kayura began to learn how to control her virtue and started the Youjakai down the path to become a democratic nation, as it had been before Arago's takeover. In order to better do this, she enrolled herself in Fandango High School in Flamingo Heights, Florida, where the Masho had also gone. There she found the fallen Masho alive and well, the Troopers, and an old friend from her childhood in the Youjakai. She is also now learning to control plants in order to use them as weapons as her old friend does.
